If you believe that you can face the challenge, join us. If you can't hack-it, join the scouts or the Army Cadets - just join something to stretch your mind & body. |

We also promote the highest level of self discipline, respect for self & others and comradeship as well as the principles of leadership. We can achieve this through the system of military discipline, Royal Marine Ethos and adventure training. |

Throughout its history, the Corps has many examples of how the Royal Marine Commando State of Mind has led to success on the battlefield - from the storming of Gibraltar in 1704, to the Commandos of World War II, and more recently as part of the UN-authorised mission in Afghanistan.
