Whatever you may beleive, the period between 13 & 17 years old is a very important stage of your overall developement. In order to maximise your potential in future life, you will need to deveolp many skill sets. The Marine Cadets can help, but it will need your committment. If you believe that you can face the challenge, join us. If you can't hack-it, join the scouts or the Army Cadets - just join something to stretch your mind & body.

Our aim is to provide oppoutunities for young people to deveolp into responsible, reliable and useful members of society. We also promote the highest level of self discipline, respect for self & others and comradeship as well as the principles of leadership. We can achieve this through the system of military discipline, Royal Marine Ethos and adventure training.

School work is very demanding and essential for the future of the young person to maximise his/her full potential. We believe that our training would enhance the pupil's ability to obtain this potential and provide that all important break from today's stress filled life-style of study, study and study.

Throughout its history, the Corps has many examples of how the Royal Marine Commando State of Mind has led to success on the battlefield - from the storming of Gibraltar in 1704, to the Commandos of World War II, and more recently as part of the UN-authorised mission in Afghanistan.
