To join the Marine cadets you must be aged between 13 and 17 and be able to Parade Two nights a week (Monday & Thursday). Training is both physically and mentally demanding, you will be expected pass our fitness and skill's test's before passing out as a Marine Cadet.
How much does does it cost then?
TS Narvik is a registered charity and although some support is provided via the Royal Navy (primarily uniforms), the unit is required to raise it's own funds through donations and sponsorships. For 2008, the suggested Quarterly donations are £ 30 which helps towards heating, lighting and other running costs such as the unit mini-bus. Once your uniform is issued, a refundable deposit of £ 50 is required.
